Not sure if i should feel happy about getting 9 points higher than the mean on my cse midterm or sad that i got more points deducted than i expected…i’m not being cocky or anything but i swear i done everything right except my recursive programming. i mean now that i think about it, the only thing i should get points deducted for is not including the recursive method in one of the base case that i had… i’m really curious to what i got points deducted for……. ): i guess what im trying to say is that im trying to get a higher mid term score so it it somewhat cover up my terrible homework scores.

I think i’m super happy about this present because it was a surprise. after a long day of school and work right after, i came home to this :D Thanks Sophy!! Happy Birthday to me :D

it has been two days and i’ve finally got a taste of all the classes i’ll be going to this quarter…and man do i miss my winter quarter’s schedule.

I’m taking math this quarter and i’m pretty excited about it since i haven’t done math since last year. the “lecturer” is a pretty cool guy. on Monday he did a problem that i was able to follow along to. but the down side to that class is my QZ section…. i have…. an international student teaching me math… and whenever she talks i spend more time trying to figure out what she’s trying to say in English than trying to figure out what she’s trying to explain to us regarding our math work…..when a problem about pizza came up, she talked about how she liked her pizza… awkw… 

the 2nd class i’m taking this quarter is Ling 200. i honestly do not know why i’m taking this class… the professor has no emotions at all and is super unorganized. my qz section T.A  for ling is also an international student from japan. she took almost a minute trying to tell us how she likes mt. fuji’s water. her words were exactly if not exact close to “fuji, mount fuji, i….. like… wa.. ter…. i live… dere…. so water…. very fresh… from mountain…” ………… but i like the fact that she’s japanese.

Finally CSE 143. its at kane 130 and i do not like that class room. Guggenheim was so much better. although the seats were a bit more crowded the projector was much more clearer and the speakers there are 100000X better. i dont have much to say about this class because the class is so far so good and my QZ section T.A is pretty awesome too. but i do miss my old T.A… just not the way he grades my work…

P.S……people who can not speak english well / have a heavy accent should not be allowed to teach! especially in MATH!!!!!!!!!!!!
